Easy job first tonight - fitted the springs to my front shocks and bolted them in place. Don't coilovers look the dogs.... |
Thought I'd better do some more panel work tonight so I made up the passengers tunnel end panel and sealed/riveted in place. Got bored after that so moved on... |
Spent the last few days trying to decide the best place to mount the sierra compensator. Decided on the drivers engine bay panel in the end and just hope it wont be in the way of anything else. To function correctly the unit must be position with the small end facing towards the front of the car at an angle of 30 degrees. The pipe from the master cylinder enters the large end, and the pipe to the rear brakes exits from the small end. |

Another shot of the brake lines. |
The front to rear brake line was run along the top of the tunnel on the drivers side. The regs say the pipes should be supported every 75mm, however I went for 50mm for piece of mind. |
The front to rear pipe supplied by Tiger is way too long! I will have to run it down to the bottom of the tunnel and back up one of the rear supports to lose some of the length, or borrow a flaring tool and cut it! This pic shows the T piece the splits the brake's for left and right. |
