Lesson No 1 learnt tonight! Never, ever, say "I'll finish that later..." Tonight I remembered that when I fitted the rear axle assy I hadn't used a large washer to spread the load on the top of the mounting... Not too much of a problem on the o/s however yesterday I fitted & sealed the 'pig's ear' over the n/s one which all had to be removed tonight to give me access to the bolt. |
I also found out today that using cable ties to secure the loom to the brake pipe is an SVA no no. These all had to be taken off and the loom P clipped in place. |
Got round my toe in problem by ordering an M14 x 2.0 die and cutting another 10mm of thread on each tie rod. This now gives plenty of adjustment for my tracking. |
Fitted the n/s tunnel panel tonight. |
Which would have been made so much easier if Tiger supplied either a larger seat back panel, or a longer tunnel panel. As it was I had to bend up an off cut of ali to seal between the seat back and the tunnel. |
