Build Diary - 24th December 2005

I have taken the front wing stays off to give them a coat of paint. I decided that before I paint them I will radius all the edges and make them look, well, slightly less agricultural! |

Once all the edges were filed down I gave them a few coats of smoothrite. |

The Tiger supplied bonnet clips wont pass the SVA test. To make them SVA friendly I just covered them with some heater hose, hiding all the sharp edges. This of course will probably fall off on the way back from the test.... |

Got my dash and other trim parts back from Chester Sports Cars during the week. Decided the dash was the first thing to fit. This shot shows the 6 warning lights fitted. |

The dash will be held in place mainly by the speedo and tacho which are clamped from behind the fibreglass of the scuttle. |

The blokey who does the trimming for Chester did a really good job with the dash and I think it looks the mutts... Guess that's all for 2005 now. |
