Constructed between 1931-1936 during the great depression, Hoover Dam cost around $49M (thats $833M in today's money). It's 1,244ft long and 726ft high and used over 3,250,000 cubic yards of concrete.

The City that never sleeps... Las Vegas is home of the world famous 'Strip' or to give it it's proper name, Las Vegas Blvd. The Hotels/Casino's have to been seen to be believed, one of the problems here is perspective - whilst it might look like a 5 minute walk to the next hotel, its more often than not quite a long way..!
